Points awarded to Qualified Class Champion*
according to the following system and points !
Eligible members are? all Individual Annual, Individual Life &
Individual Endowment Trust Life Memberships.

Annual, Semi-Annual, or any APA sanctioned show with 2,250 or more birds judged
25 points
District Meet or any APA sanctioned show with 1,500-2,249 birds judged
15 points
State Meet or any APA sanctioned show with 750-1,499 birds judged
10 points
Club Meet with less than 750 birds Judged
5 points
You cannot earn less points than those appropriate for the type of
meet at a show (i.e., a win at a State meet having 1,500 or more
birds can be worth 15 points but a win at a State meet with less than
750 birds exhibited is still worth 10 points).
*Qualified Class Champions
Champions of Large Chickens, Ducks (except Bantam Ducks), Geese
and Turkeys where there are at least 25 birds judged in the class.
Class Champions of Bantams and Bantam Ducks where there are at
least 50 birds judged in the class.
Champion and reserve Champion Large Chicken, Duck, Goose and
Turkey if 25 or more birds were judged and the bird did not win
points under #1 or #2 above.
Champion and Reserve Champion Bantam if 50 or more Bantams were
judged and the bird did not win points under #2 above.
Champion and Reserve Waterfowl if 25 or more Waterfowl are judged
and the bird did not qualify under any previous rule.
Champion Trio of Large Chickens, Bantams, Ducks, Geese and Turkeys
if 10 or more trios are shown in the bird type.
Points will accumulate as long as an exhibitor is a member in good
standing. If the membership lapses the points will be dropped.
1985 points count as printed in the 1986 Yearbook. 1986 and 1987 were
figured under these rules; however, points were not awarded for any
Reserve Champions, Trio Champions or Waterfowl Champions. Those rules
went into effect January 1, 1988.
MASTER EXHIBITOR AWARD: Awarded when 100 points are earned. The
Master Exhibitor Award will be a Plaque. Appropriate recognition will
be given in the APA yearbook.
GRAND MASTER EXHIBITOR? AWARD. Awarded when 100 points are
earned in one variety of one breed. The award will be a variation of
our present Master Exhibitor plaque.
HALL OF FAME EXHIBITOR AWARD. Awarded when 1000 points are earned.
The exact form of the award will be determined at a later date.
